1 quart canola oil for frying, or as needed
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
2 (4.23-oz) packages Boursin Garlic and Fine Herbs Cheese Bites
Directions
- In a large Dutch oven, pour oil to a depth of 2 inches. Heat the oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (180°C).
- Set up three broad, shallow basins while the oil warms. Fill each one with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Dredge cheese in flour, working with a handful of bites at a time, and shake off excess. Dip in eggs, allowing excess to drop off. To coat, dredge in breadcrumbs. Place on a big platter or a small rimmed baking sheet. Place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Fry boursin bits in batches for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until golden. Place on a baking sheet lined with paper towels. Rep with the remaining bites. Transfer to a dish and serve right away.
